And that’s a wrap! The 40th World Travel Market trade show has come to a close in London, leaving scores of enlightened hoteliers and service providers in its wake.

GuestRevu was thrilled to have been offered a spot at Mews Systems’ stand at this year’s show, where we enjoyed some excellent interactions with other industry professionals and leveraged our partnership to show just how fantastic having an integrated property management system (PMS) and guest feedback solution can be.

“WTM 2019 has been a great opportunity to meet with our partners,” says business development manager at GuestRevu, Mark Evans. “It’s great to hear all the optimism surrounding the hospitality sector at the moment, and how so many hospitality professionals are turning to new technology to improve the guest experience.

“The hospitality tech stack continues to grow and evolve and it’s been fantastic to discuss solutions with a variety of tech providers. We’ve loved engaging with hospitality professionals from all corners of the world over the last few days,” says Mark.

"The hospitality technology environment is not a ‘one size fits all’ situation. It requires a tech stack with a strong interconnectedness to give each unique end-user the solution they’re looking for" – Mark Evans, Business Development Manager, GuestRevu

CEO of GuestRevu, Chris Alexandre, says the team left WTM feeling inspired.

“As a tech provider, GuestRevu operates to solve specific challenges in hospitality relating to guest feedback and reputation management. By engaging with and listening to experts from across the industry at events like these, we are able to make sure we always stay current and provide the features and functionality that make a real difference for hoteliers all over the globe,” he explains. “Mews has created an extremely valuable technological ecosystem among their partners and it's great to be a part of this.”

Mark and Chris were joined by Mews sales manager for UK and Ireland, John Mullen, who enjoyed the opportunity to show hoteliers the two-way integration between Mews and GuestRevu.

“What we're trying to do at Mews, and what we’re trying to do with GuestRevu as well, is just make everything nice and easy for hoteliers,” he explains. “The two-way integration with you guys makes it so simple for hotel staff to access key guest information right on their PMS dashboard. As soon as that information comes in, they can react.”

As we like to say at GuestRevu ...

Other highlights included the launch of SiteMinder’s new app store. With this following in the footsteps of BookingSuite and Mews Marketplace, among a handful of others, we’re seeing more and more tech providers creating app store environments that allow hoteliers to pick and choose the technology best suited to their businesses.

“The hospitality technology environment is not a ‘one size fits all’ situation. It requires a tech stack with a strong interconnectedness to give each unique end-user the solution they’re looking for,” adds Mark. “Together with other industry professionals and our valued partners, GuestRevu continues to grow and develop its product offering. Watch this space, because this is only the beginning…”
